PINPOINT – WORD ASSOCIATION GAME

Pinpoint is a quick word association game. Five clue words appear one at a time, and your job is to find the link between them – the category they all belong to. Guess early with just one or two clues for a perfect score, or wait for more words to make it easier. Every wrong guess reveals the next clue, and you have five tries in total.

How to play Pinpoint

• Look at the first clue and think about every category it could belong to.
• Type your guess and press Guess. Not sure yet? Press Next clue to see another word (it uses one try).
• The answer can be a group (Birds), a shared feature (Things with keys) or wordplay (Words before BALL).
• Solve it in as few clues as you can, then share your score with friends.

The Daily Pinpoint is the same for everyone and changes at midnight. Want more? Switch to Unlimited and play one puzzle after another.

Tips for word association

• The first clue is always tricky: words like MAP or STAR have several meanings. Keep every meaning in mind.
• Look for a hidden shared word: many puzzles are "words before" or "words after" something.
• You do not need the exact wording – a short answer such as "keys" or "fish" is enough.

What counts as a correct answer?

Type the category in your own words. "Keys", "things with keys" and "they all have a key" all count as the same answer. Singular or plural does not matter, and capital letters are ignored.

There is a new Daily Pinpoint every day, and Unlimited mode lets you play the whole collection in any order.
